PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Chat Cards are an easy way for anyone to have a chat about everyday life. Sometimes a simple question is all it takes to get a good conversation going. Chat Cards help people share stories, discover new things about each other and talk about things that might not otherwise come up. They can help people explore what they like and want, have a laugh, or even spark an idea for something new to try.
There are 144 different conversation starters across eight colour-coded areas of everyday life: Home, Travel, Communication, Relationships, Money, Health, About Me and Creativity. Just pick a card, ask the question and see where the conversation goes.
Chat Cards are for everyone, but they were designed by adults with learning disabilities. They’re flexible and adaptable, making them particularly useful for people with a wide range of abilities and support needs.
There are no complicated rules and no right or wrong answers. Use them one-to-one or in a group, with friends and family, at home, or in supported living, day services, schools and colleges, support sessions and other community settings.
Designed and developed in the UK, Chat Cards were created with funding from the Greater Manchester Combined Authority and support from Manchester Metropolitan University. Chat Cards are made by PossAbilities CIC, a not-for-profit social enterprise.
